My niece Mylie was baptized on Sunday and it was a lovely time! I arrived early in the morning to help prepare food for the event. I helped shred the chicken and chop potatoes and onions for chicken tinga, mole poblano, and guacamole. In the meantime, Mylie, who LOVES her Uncle Todd but is a bit wary of her Aunt Stacey these days, took a nap. We woke the sleepyheads up, got ready for the church, and off we went to the baptism!

After the baptism, we went back to Marc's place where it commenced to rain but we hauled tables into a large 2-car bay of his garage and kept the party going. Mylie went back to sleep but motivated later on for cake...she is my niece, after all! The slideshow is arranged chronologically through the baptism. You can tell she had fun the entire time! Even getting dunked in holy water!!
