We left Margaretville on our way to Woodstock. Garmin nuvi, usually quite reliable, led us somewhat astray using the vague "Cities" function. We were somewhat at a standstill trying to figure out best routes using a conventional map when Tiffany and Shilpa simultaneously came up with solutions. Tiffany figured out a route using the map and Shilpa remembered a specific location in Woodstock, Taco Juan's, that we could map using Garmin nuvi. We had a very short visit, having some Mexican at Taco Juan's to thank him for his help in getting there and seeing some hippies protesting marijuana imprisonment, I think?
After our short visit, we hightailed it over to the Emerson Resort & Spa for some downtime. We tried Forrest Yoga with an excellent instructor who had Tiff and Tina climbing the walls, literally. Her breathing sounded like an ocean soundtrack!! After the spa, we had a fantastic meal at the Peekamoose, which is a restaurant that is a proponent of the Slow Food movement. We were eager to enjoy a nice relaxing evening out, but we were hungry!! And slow was a tiny bit painful. Nevertheless, we had a great meal and then retired to the room for some more wine and a soak in the fab Japanese tub. After breakfast at a local cafe, Tiff and I took off for Logan Airport while the other gals indulged in some more Woodstock.Meanwhile, back at the homestead, Day 1 of the kitchen renovation was in moderate swing. Todd had started boxing things up
and when I got home, we began taking the cabinet doors off and removing the hardware. Here are some before we got started with removing the doors, and some
in progress
shots

Thanks for all your work to make the Catskill trip a reality. Hope this week is very productive and isn’t too painful
It was a great weekend! Thanks for putting it all together. Sorry you didn't get to the Kaleidoscope museum! And, having been through a kitchen renovation myself, I feel your pain. Good luck!
