What I thought was glue stuck to the wood floor are actually little absences of polyurethane. I discovered this when I got down to look at the floor in detail and determine the starting grit for my refinishing project. Based on this new finding, it looks like we may have to go whole hog and start with something like 30 grit. The Foreman is coming this weekend to help out the Journeywoman and Apprentice. Wonder what he will have to say....
