Martin, a friend I made on my very first day of grad school almost 14 years ago, celebrated his 40th BDay last night. It was a really nice night meeting his Synta and Epix colleagues. Martin & Estelle set up a big spread of goodies and a wine tasting of three different red wines. It was a very cool set-up, complete with Sharpies to keep track of your wine glass. Of course, they also had beer and white wine, but I was very focused on the red! Here are some pics of the cake cutting!
